i would also be concerned if thomas gets hurt sabourin is not a goalie that instills confidence his career stats are not that good they better hope rask is ready to step up in case tim gets hurt

If you read around and listen to what BOS people are saying, Rask is starting the season in the NHL. Lord knows I have no idea how they're going to fit him in cap wise (his salary, with bonus, is over $3 mil), but that appears to be the for-sure plan.

I was wondering about that actually. I thought he would have been their backup, period.

I didn't realize his contract was so large though.
