The NYR are pleased to welcome Daymond Langkow, Leland Irving, and Anton Stralman into the organization. All though brief we would like to say thank you to Josh Harding for his commiment to the organization.

The NYR would like to welcome the latest additions to our team. Okposo

Pending League approval the NYR would like to welcome Francois Beauchemin and Angelo Esposito to the team. We feel that both bring qualities that have been lacking in our team. It was tough giving up young talent like Colton and Anton but we feel this makes us a more skilled and tougher team.

The NYR are pleased to announce the trade of Toni Lydman, Andrej Sekera, Tyler Ennis, 2010 1st Vancouver, and Jacob Markstrom for Kubina, Ben Blood, 2010 3rd (NYR).

The NYR are extremley excited to announce the acquisation of Phil Kessel and the return of Antrem Aniximov to the organization. We would like to thank Chris for his contributions while here and wish him the best. Moving Matt was a tough decision but we felt this gave him the best opportunity to play regularly.

Bringing a player of Phil's calibre costs but felt it was a move that needed to be made. Along with his incredible skill set it allows us to better utilize our current players in positions they fit best.

The NYR would are pleased to announce that Brandon Dubinsky will be the new captain of the team.

As GM, I felt making this move early in the season allows the team plenty of time to gel, while giving Brandon every opportunity to further grow into the role as Captain and leader on this team.

The NYR are please and excited to welcome Jamal, John, and Zach to the team and look forward to their contributions now and in the future.

These moves were made to add more leadership and size to the bottom 6.

John just adds to our quality of depth of Dman in our prospect pool. Even though he is currently playing with the Kitchener Rangers we look forward to the great years he will have as a NYR.

We want to thank Avery for his efforts put in with the organization but we felt this move helps our current roster and the organization in the future. This deal allows the coach to move Ouellet up to the 3rd line and give him an opportunity to play a little more.

Media Release: NYR add size to the centers position

The NYR are pleased to announce the acquistion of R.J Umberger and would like to thank Daymond Langkow for his contributions during his brief stay in the Big Apple. The NYR however felt this was a necessary move to add further size at the centers positions while also gaining a little more cap space.

We would like to thank the fans of the NYR for their understanding at this time due to all the changes that have taken place with the team. The various changes have been made to put the best possible team on the ice now and for the future.

The NYR are extremely excited to announce the addition of Mr. Jarome Iginla to the organization. His presence to the team will be a huge boost to our locker room and will do wonders for our young team. We thank PM, Brian, and Evgeny for their efforts and wish them all the best.

Minor League Trade:

The NYR have traded Tyler Eckford to the TML for prospect Zach Kassian.

The NYR are very excited to announce the addition of Matt Stajan to the team. The addition of Stajan gives us added depth once he is up to game speed after coming off of injury. Matt will center the 3rd line with Callahan and McArthur where we now roll a solid 4 lines.

After nearly two weeks and what started out as two teams became 3. 1
put on his walking boots and went away but came back when he wore out
his boots. After bouncing some things around we 3 Kings were finally
able to reach an agreement. I'd like to thank both GMs from Buffalo and Detroit for making this possible. Even though the other teams got some star players we are very happy with our return as it gives us added depth both on our NHL and AHL team. We hope these moves will help propel us to a long cup run.

We are extremely excited to be adding a player of Maltby calibre to our team. His Cup runs will go along ways in seeing our goal while helping to bring along our younger guys.

The NYR are excited to announce the addition Kevin Bieksa to the team. Unfortunately we are sad to see RJ Umberger leaving the team. His contributions to the team will be greatly missed however we felt we needed to add some further depth to the defence and give some of our younger guys more playing time on the 2nd line. That being said the NYR will be looking for added depth to the 3rd line.

Rumors coming out of NY are that Marc Staal is standing firm on his request for 4 million. GM Phoenix is standing firm and the trenches are being dug.

The NYR are excited to announce the addition of Mathieu Garon to the team. Unfortunately with the addition of Garon, the NYR are going to begin listening to offers for Elliott.

The NYR are pleased to announce the resigning of Clarke MacArthur for 5 years @ 1.5 million/yr. We look forward to his continued development and growth within the NYR organization.

The NYR are pleased to announce the following buzzer beater deal sending Schultz, Garon, Maltby 2011 3rd-Philly and 2010 2nd - NYR for big defensive prospect Taylor Doherty, Jamie Langenbrunner, Marc Methot, Detroits 2010-1st, and NYI 2011-1st.

We are very excited to be adding these players to our organization and believe they will be strong contributors to a deep playoff run.

Along with Jamies great skills and speed he also brings added leadership to our young team.

Marc brings size, muscle and solid checking to out back end.

Doherty well, what can I say he will brings size and strength to our prospect depth. His presence along with Wiercoch, Moore, McNabb, McDonagh, and our other current prospect dman. We will have a very solid and deep defense for years to come.

We are saddened to move Schultz who was a top 2 shot blocker in the league this season but we felt that with the depth on the blue line we were able to make this move.

Garon felt he couldn't help the King and requested a move to a team where he can help teach and push a young starter. We wish him the best and have the upmost confidence he will be able to pass down his experience to the young guys in Detroit.

As for our current signings. Well I am not sure why more GM's weren't interested in these guys but hey their loss. We have added considerable depth too our team and moving forward fans of the NYR should be excited.
