Love this deal, good pickup. Picard has been awful, nothing to defend.

A good picture of consistency in this guy though, he's had 40-50 points every year he's been in the league. So where does he play?
2nd or 3rd line? I gotta say I raelly liked the line combos last night:

Whats going to happen when Foligno comes back? It's a pretty good crisis when you don't know who you can sit on the bench because everyone is playing so well.

Just CapGeek'd Cullen... he's making $2.875 this year. We shipped out Picard, at $800K. That means we've taken on more than $2 mil (prorated) in new salary.

We have to be super tight against it now.

Im honestly more interested in who plays on D tomorrow night! There will be a new Sens tomorrow nigth along with Cullen, garenteed.

With Lee The Sens have 5 d for tomorrow night.

We need 2 D-Men if Campoli is out.

I would say Smith or Murray is going to make another deal.

Not that Murray does anything logically, but with 5 dmen (assuming Campoli and Karlsson both are not playing tomorrow) available something has to give. Trading Picard away and bringing up Lee still leaves us 1 dman short, so one has to believe that he's working another deal.

My reasons are that if not he would have called up 2 dmen for tomorrow instead of just lee.

He can be an emergency call-up whenever, but until Spokane is done for the year we can't have him full-time

There was talk earlier of BM going after a guy like Sheldon Brookbank. If ANA is shopping him, that strikes me as a fit. That guy's gonna cost, like, a 5th or something, max.
