HFB: Kovalev Re-Signs?
People on HF are saying that the Team 990 in Montreal is reporting Kovalev has re-upped for 2 years at $8.8 million.
Not bad. Which Kovalev are they getting, though?

Is this confirmed? Apparently the source is Team 990 but there is nothing from Corus Sports or RDS yet...

From ESPN's Pierre Lebrun from their live blog:
LeBrun (3:40 p.m. ET): An update on Alexei Kovalev.
"Not close to a deal," his agent Scott Greenspun said via e-mail.

Habs have signed Cammalleri. Does this signal the end of Kovalev in Montreal?
