Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - The Nashville Predators signed right wing Ryan Jones to a two-year contract on Monday.
The pact will net the 25-year-old $975,000.
Jones appeared in 46 contests for the Predators during his rookie campaign in 2008-09, tallying seven goals and 10 assists. He also notched 13 goals to go along with nine helpers in 25 games for the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Originally selected in the fourth round (111th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by Minnesota, Jones joined Nashville in a July 2008 trade that sent Marek Zidlicky to the Wild.
