And the coaching carousel continues in New Jersey. I just saw this on TSN.

I guess it was that or be fired?

Do you think that changes New Jersey's style at all? Perhaps if they convince Kovalchuck to re-sign they'll move in a different direction but I'm not holding my breath. It'll take more than Lemaire leaving to change the Devil's approach.

Nope, Lou will prob put the same kind of hold on his players and make sure they play NJ Devils hockey.

It won't as long as Fraudeur is there. When Clemmensen was in goal Zajac and Parise were free to run and gun and win games with offense.

The day Brodeur retires, is the day the Devils are no longer feared in the East.

Heck, based on how he played in the playoffs, some would say they're no longer feared at all. Parise is the best though, as long as they have him I assume they'll continue to make the playoffs after Brodeur is gone.

But wow, Parise is up after next season - and although he'll be an RFA, you can look out on this one, this guy can command up to 7.5 million on a LONG term deal. So, they had better be prepared for that.
