I was just researching the origins of the name "Gonchar" and apparently it means "Potter" in Ukrainian.

I want to think positive, but I really think Malkin, Crosby et al are going to expose our defence, much like Philly did.

Advertisers would be smart to buy ads in the Ottawa end for this game.

For whatever reason, though, we seem to play well against Pittsburgh, except earlier this season and in that one playoff round.

Maybe we should sign Gerber for this one game.

Brooks Orpik is out.
Mark Eaton will be their N1 D if Gonchar is a no go.

I don't care if Malkin and Crosby are second comings, if we don't win against that D we suck balls. All kinds of.

I can't remember what my record was, but I just got 578.1. I'm pretty sure I got in the high 580s before, but 578 is not bad in a hurry.

Pretty much. "Pretty Boy" has to have a great game against his former team. Alfie and Spezza need to do something. Not sure what.

Score more?

Sure, their "D" is hurting but they still have MAF between the pipes and our "D" has not exactly been stellar either. We'll need another performance by Leclaire, that's for sure.

I predict a Sens win. Leclaire will be awesome and we win 2 - 1. Kovalev and Fisher will hook up again for at least one of the goals. Alfie will be much better and not turn the puck over like he did last game and his passes will connect 95% of the time. Our PP gets a goal tonight.

There must be a reason he backed away. The score, the time of the game? He's gone toe to toe with Milan Lucic - who put Komisarek in the hospital, so he's tough as nails (as we all know). MUCH more intimidating than Colton Orr IMO.

I find it quite humorous when people say this about Neil. How about you have a look at his actual history of who he has fought over they years before you call him a hypocrite and say he doesn't fight real tough guys.

Orr fought our resident tough guy Carkner. That's not Neil's roll this season. How do you know it wasn't the coach telling his guys to leave Orr alone?

Is Konopka not a tough guy? He's fought him this season.

Last season he fought George Parros, Andrew Peters, Eric Godard, & Konopka

Season before that - he fought Brashear and Boulton.

You guys are putting way too much effort into refuting such a moronic comment. Neil back away from the fight because the Leafs had scored no more than 5 minutes earlier and we were down 2-1 and just beginning to surge. That's all the defense needed for that statement.

If your friends knew anything about hockey sid, they would have told you that themselves.

You aren't making any sense. I've already stated, and backed up with facts, that Neil fights the real heavy weights. He's fought, Andrew Peters,Godard,George Parros, Donald Brashear and Boulton just over the past two seasons. Neil isn't the resident fighter this season, Carkner is.

As much as it would please you to think that it's not true. Neil isn't and wasn't afraid of Colton Orr.
