would it be too much to ask to perhaps have our fans be louder than the visiting team's fans?

We owe the Leafs a whooping so they can revert back to

It's always bugged me that I'm almost 100% positive that's a line from a movie or TV show. But I could never figure out which one. Perhaps it's become one of those lines that has been repeated so many times in so many places that no-one remembers its origin.

I found this quote from "Repo Man":

Awful quiet in here ... too quiet.

Watched that movie more than 20 years ago. Just once. Don't think I really got it, so could that be the one line that stuck with me?

It is quiet. But I think that has a lot to do with:

1.The Sens suck right now and it's almost a challenge to come and rehash what's going wrong

2.We're so close to the playoffs, that's when the renewed interest will come in.

3.March break, a lot of families doing stuff together

That would be my thoughts. I was asking a mod at HF Boards if the traffic was down there and he said it was down around 55% from pre-deadline to now.

know what sucks? I had to book carry-over vacation days from work before the end of april, and I need to visit family in California around that period. So without hesitation I booked a ticket for the last week of April (23rd to 1st) without realizing that I could potentially be missing the Sens playoff games 5, 6, 7 for round 1 and the first couple of games for round 2. And since its the U.S., I probably won't be able to stream CBc from there either

is it just me or is it that everytime we play the leafs i feel that were going to lose, there not that free easy to get a win on team any more, they always find a way to pull an upset vs a better team but then they lose to teams like carolina and atlanta.

Not 'less' -- 'fewer'. You use 'less' with things you can't count -- like water, snow, etc. 'Fewer' is used with things you can count, like 'fewer grammar mistakes'.

So, Fisher is now "doubtful" with an upper body injury. Something that happened in practice or banged up from a game?

Interesting practice lines (from twitter):
Kelly-Cullen-Alfredsson
Michalek-Spezza-Foligno
Shannon-Regin-Kovalev
Ruutu-Winchester-Neil/Donovan

From Clouston's presser after the skate:
- Campoli and Foligno playing
- Fisher's injury is an old, nagging one, not something new from practice

Kinda like 10 items or less. Yes I know it's wrong. My mother in-law won't shut up about it.

I've also seen it written as "10 items and less", but in software circles that is wrong, since the expression "X = 0 && x < 10" always evaluate to FALSE.

everyone relax, Ottawa is going to win this game by three goals or more-they are just due, remember we won 10 straight against some of the top teams, it's not skill thats the problem-they are just not working together.

When they get back into form, teams like Toronto will look like teams from Toronto.

Interesting is one word I would use...

Since when can Foligno play a RW?

Why not do:

Foligno - Spezza - Kovalev
Michalek - Cullen - Alfredsson
Kelly - Regin - Shannon (sorry Regin )
Ruutu - Winchester - Neil

Yep. We're dying out there with Alfie sucking, Fisher, Kovalev, Spezza (although I maintain he's been decent). They all need to wake up - badly. Michalek, Regin. Everyone, but it really shows when our top guys are all wandering around the ice like they're lost.

No. He saw another AI Finalist -- Katherine McPhee -- on NBC's "Community" last week and figured he picked the wrong one. If anyone remembers, Katherine McPhee was the one who sang Somewhere over the Rainbow that still gives my wife chills (but she lost to Tyler Hicks). She's now on TV and she's pretty good. Didn't recognizer her at all.

I noticed while watching other NHL games that the Sens don't skate enough. I don't know if it's lack of chemistry or laziness, but when the defense get the puck on the point, nobody's moving and they just dump it in or shoot on goal and, of course, if nobody's moving, the opponent will block that shot very easily.

Tottally agree, I watched the Wings / Flames game last night and was in awe to see all the players skating so damn hard, if they had the puck or not. If you're going to only be on the ice for 50 seconds, might as well work your tail off while you're out there.

Did you rip that off from Gordie's keys to victory? Sarcasm

Let's start by scoring...say 4 goals. Including 2 in the first 10 minutes. That'll be a nice start.

How about a Sens goal in the first minute of play followed by no more than 1 goal for the Leafs all game.

691 page loads all yesterday vs. 623 so far today. Nothing like a BoO to get the page loads back to respectable levels. We should easily crack 1500 by the end of the day. I still find that Monday page load count very odd.

It's still not as busy as usual in here though.

I agree there. Not as many people on at any given time and not much posting.

We're on pace for less than 7000 posts and only slightly more than 100 topics. The previous two months saw us hit over 10,000 posts. We should also be seeing about 50 to 60 people online right now but we're hovering around 25.

When I'm actually writing versus only reading on these boards you know it's slow.
