It's incredible how useless Spezza is in the defensive zone. Forget the talk about an improved all around game...it looks like he's realized his chances at team Canada have evaporated and some part of him has given up.

Well, Washington was bound to score a couple of goals tonight, that was never in doubt, now it's time to get our Dung together and play some tighter hockey.

Spezza's obviously injured. It doesn't make any sense that he'd play more tentatively and less confrontationally while healthy.

He needs to rest and heal up.

The Jason Spezza of earlier this season for fewer games > whoever this is for more games.

Washington scoring and totally blowing you coverage in zone by your center are different. Spezza needs to step up big time in the 2nd. Damn near close to unacceptable. Give aways in the nutral zone, awful defensive coverage, and no offense generated.

Even if he is it doesnt effect his brain. He has to be better, injured or not. If you can play then sit out, pretty simple. He's hurting the team right now.
