Should be interesting adding Game #11 should we continue this streak of course.

Re: The Sens Winning Streak Momentum Meter
Very creative. I would say the 10th was back to Giant Tortoise speed though, we'll need to ramp that up.

The game itself, in isolation, I'd agree with that but this is an overall momentum meter so it builds on the previous games. It's not an in game meter it's more of an after the fact measurement of the momentum that the Sens have built up.

Cool. Just added Buffalo, added a shadow to "Alfies" hand, centred the fonts and gave them an etched look.

Alfie looks like a young Chuck Heston in that pic. Not sure why.

I think you'll run out of speeds. Next one or the one after that will have to be tachyons, and that's FTL.

oops... will fix.
EDIT: Replaced the image in above post with the new one with the 10 team names. Should remove "strong attention to detail" from my resume.

The Alfie reminds me of a young Jeebus in that picture, for some reason.

I think if we win tomorrow night I'm going to have to start another one of these momentum meters.

There's always the Warp drive speed which is good for up to 10 isn't it? For the next streak of course.

If we can win the three last games heading into the break, we have to be considered a favorite heading into the playoffs.
Our schedule after the Olympic break is significantly easier than our most recent stretch - consisting of games against teams with predominantly losing records.
Not saying that we should take them easy or that the games are going to be easy, but on paper, we are favorites in the majority of our games after the break.
But anyways, no sense in looking ahead that far.
For now, Washington is our focus, and damn is that gonna be a good game.

Re: The Sens Winning Streak Momentum Meter
I would also add that if we did knock off the Caps on our way to a clean sweep before the break that Murray needs to reward this team with an impact player. Not just try to get one but actually do it.
Basically Murray will need to send the message to this team that he believes they can go deep and here's the piece that proves I believe it.

Re: The Sens Winning Streak Momentum Meter
I'm all for signing an impact player.
Do big trades at the deadline actually work ? I thought most such deals do little to improve a team.
If Murray trades away the farm for an impact player who does little impact, then we're SOL.

I doubt he'll trade away the farm. Besides, a 35 - 45 pt. LW is not exactly star calibre but it would make a huge impact on this team.
