New addition
I'm back everyone, Heatley is still a Sen begrudgingly, but hopefully things will happen on that front this week, but I will get down to hockey business with my next posting, I am wanting to introduce you all to another Sens fan in the making (hopefully), little Zachary Nicholas Carl was born on July 30th, weighing in at 7 lbs 14 oz and was 21 inches long. I included the picture of him with his big brother Xander.

meh sleep is overrated lol, so far so good, he gets up once for his feeding, then right back to sleep usually before his bottle is done, he must get that from me, and as for the names, I credit that to my better half, she likes different names, so that is where Xander and Zachary originated, she has a thing for two middle names as well, but well, she goes through the pregnancy, so I guess that gives her the right

those boys will be the starting 5 for the Sens come 2020 possibly, or at least we could dream of it, maybe not, but nothing better than having a little bundle of joy at home, makes the lack of sleep very easy to deal with, especially seeing how he changes from day to day, only 12 days old and already you can see little changes in him already.

Zach ans Xander. Is Xander short for Alexander? If so, then youv'e got the As and the Zs covered. Only 24 more to go.
Congratulations!

nope, not a short version of Alexander, we went against the grain and called him just Xander (it's a character from a vin diesel movie, so you can't definitely know my wife picked it, I just thought it was a real cool name), as for 24 more to go, not likely, staying with just the 2, got our hands full as it is some days

I often tell people that my kids get their looks from my wife and brains from me. Usually, I'm well out of earshot of my wife, for obvious reasons.

We can definitely dream about that, hopefully at least 2 of the 5 make it..I don't know what the odds would be for that. :^^^^:
It is absolutely unbelievable how quickly they change. I see my nephew once a week, and everytime he's so different. It's really cool. I love when they start to actually smile at you without it being gas, it's such a great feeling.

our little guy isn't quite there yet in terms of the smiling, but he does like to grab our fingers and squeeze the hell out of them when we try to take the bottle away from him to burp him (he gets that from me, never take food away from me), plus he is already trying to hold his head up on his own, was doing that from day 2 or 3, if you put that kid in a position where he can't see anything, he is doing everything in his power to get to a better vantage point, he needs to know what is going on (he gets that from his mom, I can get away with saying that here
)
