Didn't you know that goalies don't always "want it back"?
And that it's sometimes good for a goalie to be sideways to the shooter? (fakes them out.)

"A solid effort by the Sens but they came up against some hot goaltending."

This was the excuse for each loss in the first 1/4 of the season.

Referencing every Senators break-out this season:

"...but the puck was behind him..."

The unspoken part is "...by the backup media relations personnel filling in for the injured regulars..."

EDIT : (this is to "they came up against some hot goaltending...")

Here's what I never want to see/hear again:
1. Gord Wilson's "ughhh's" when there is a screwup (heard 15 times per game).
2. "Playing a system". All I see is a system of sucking.
3. "Got to have a good start"
4. Dave Schreyber repeating what the person who spoke before him said (see echolalic).
5. Glen Kulka, passing on how a hockey team should win, based on his experience with the Ottawa Rough Riders.
6. Fisher in on the wing, shoots high of the glass

Garry Galley's keys to the game that the senatory have already screwed up by the time he reads them - "get off to a quick start" - by the time he reads it, the sens are already down a goal. Or "stay out of the box", and they are already a man down.

"We just gotta play our game, keep it simple and limit the opposition's chances."

The way we play, that's an oxymoron. Our game is giving the opposition chances.
