That's my favourite Bryan Murray move so far.

We'll put a poll when D-Day is done and see if he can top that. I doubt it though personally. Grand Theft Murray on the Shannon deal.
That is tied for 1st in my mind.

The Schaeffer - Donovan deal was pretty sweet as well. How's Providence Peter ?

oh schaefer, what a gimp lol, does he get a cup ring if boston wins and he is in the ahl? lol

I doubt that - I see nothing about it, trying to confirm, cause it would be a stupid move by NY. Hopefully Ottawa claims him, he's a really good player.

Yeah, that was a good one too. Although, I think I heard that Schaeffer scored the other day, so he must be back in the NHL.

Still, losing that salary and replacing him with a guy who gives it his all every game was very nice. Now...on to Chris Kelly.

I don't even think he'll make it to the Rangers to be honest.

judging by the waiver wire, honestly wouldn't be upset if Ottawa snagged him, not that it would happen.

For all of Murray's emphasis on quality people, picking up Avery would be a black eye on the organization.

I'll say it again: if the Sens pick up Avery, I will NEVER attend another Ottawa Senators game again.

Nice Dash, you caught that one.

It's Joe Callahan from the New York Islanders.

I'd just shake my head and laugh if Preissing gets picked up by anyone, let alone Ottawa.

Won't be Ottawa, that's for sure. But you don't think a team sees him as a number 4 D-man and a PP specialist for a playoff run? It's not that bad of a contract.

No worries Heater, but diddle did I want him if it were true.

Would you? I think Regin's better, maybe Zubov too, Z.Smith too, perhaps O'Brien in a couple of years.

Not sure why, never really liked this guy's game.

I know little about him, but have just heard great things about him. Overheard some guys talking about him last year, one of them knew him through coaching or something. Just raved about him. Decent numbers too.

Preissing was a healthy scratch for most of Dec/Jan. That means he wasn't a top 6 on the LA Kings. And apparently, still isn't. Preissing just came off of injured reserve, and was still a healthy scratch Sunday. Here is the latest off of Sportsline:

3G, 4A, 7pts. -7

Preissing activated off of IR: The Kings activated D Tom Preissing on Sunday, after he missed 22 games because of an undisclosed upper-body injury, but he didn't play against the team's game against Chicago.
(Updated 03/01/2009).
Injury Report
No information available at this time (Updated 3/2/09).

Fantasy Analysis
Preissing was a big free agent acquisition for the Kings but has been mostly a bust as he was a healthy scratch frequently earlier in the season before he went on the IR. He has little Fantasy value and should be ignored until he starts to contribute.
