Well, NHL12 was down to $40, and that came out three months ago. So you may have to wait a bit longer. Except the next big sale season may not be until end of school.

I used to get things "on the cheap" but then somebody shot an arrow into my leg. Is that how you do it?

Anyone playing Dead Island on 360? I played online co-op with a friend yesterday and it was much more fun than single player. You can accomplish so much more and its better having a friend help slay zombies.

Amazon.com has the PS3move motion controllers on sale for $30 (that's $20 off). Unfortunately no such deals in Canada. Best I can do is $10 off at a couple of places, or a Hong Kong seller on eBay for around $40 with free shipping -- decent deal, assuming it doesn't get stopped in customs, but still not as good as $30.

Rocksmith. The game teaches you how to play a guitar. I don't know if it's available on any platforms other than xbox, but it's pretty sweet. Of course, you'll need a guitar. The cable goes into the guitar and, instead of the other end of the cable going into an amp, it has a usb end that plugs into the console.

I just started playing. I've played maybe 4 hours total and I'm seeing a lot of progression.

I got it too, but I've been playing for over 10 years. While I'm nothing special, it is a little slow for my liking, but I guess it's made for beginners. I put it on hardest setting and still don't find that they let you play the entire song.

Also got electrocuted once playing it... I guess you don't want to play barefoot on carpet?

I loved that game. Spent many quarters at the M + M Food Market on Arch Street. I'm hoping to build a big garage with rec/room on top and I'd like to have that and 8 Ball Deluxe.

Anyone try Kingdoms of Amulur: Reckoning ?

It's a free demo on PSN Xbox and PC.

I love it, it's kind of a mix between Elder Scrolls (Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim) + Diablo although I don't think it quite does it justice, it's an action RPG.

It's out on the 7th.

yea i have 50+ hours into it i love it the game is very wide open unlike the first which was very linear mind you i am very final fantasy biased since it is the only series i have every game of

Last FF I liked was 10 (basically last one made by Sakaguchi), the 13 was goddamn awful and I have become a hater. I think since Squaresoft merged with Enix they have not made a single good JRPG
Sad stuff considering the amazingness of 6-7-8. Ah, the music intro of FF6...
