I think I'll start watching some series I've never seen before like Lost, Breaking Bad, The Wire, etc.

The Tudors is awesome, as is Spartacus: Blood and Sand.

I've seen a bit of The Tudors...it's not really for me.

I started watching The Pacific but I missed a couple so I stopped watching.

Battlestar Galactica is what you should watch.

I saw the midnight showing of Inception in Imax last night...and all I can say is WOW!

Not only does it live up to the hype, but it smashes it.

Might be the best movie I've ever seen in terms of overall quality of story, acting, direction, special effects and originality.

Okay good, I needed to know about Blood and Sand. Thanks.

Blood and Sand is good if you dig Xena and want to see her bare rack. Or if you like watching physical expressions of manlove.

Man... we rented Sherlock Holmes the other day... wow was that a bad movie. So frigging slow... when it finally picked up, it was over.

Waste. Of. Time.

Agreed. I think it was just a big set up for the sequel. Which figures to be good because it was headed in a good direction.

Public Enemies is also garbage. Same with Law Abiding Citizen.

Just found it cheesy when Christian opens the doors to "heaven", not really happy with the religious finish, that's just me. Enjoyed the first 2 hours.

Only picking up on this now. I just started rewatching from the beginning with my boys.

As for the ending, it's was not linked to any particular religion, so calling it "heaven" is selling it short. The stained glass in the church had symbols of all the main religions. The concept of afterlife is pretty universal. Far more people believe in it (in various flavours) than do not. Are you saying they should not have done that so as not to piss off a very, very small percentage of the world's population?

Although some say its alternate title is more indicative of the show: Spartacus: Blood and Boobs.

Just don't expect the end to live up to S1/2. And don't bother with The Plan. But *do* bother with Razor.

Is it sci-fi? The only movies I have a hope in hell of watching on the big screen are kids pics and sci fi. And I'm good with that, actually. Every once in a while an action movie with no sci fi comes up, though, that would be good on a big screen (Speed, Pirates).

Waste. Of. Time.

That explains why I can get it at Blockbuster, pre-viewed on blu ray for $10.

Even Blu-ray can't fix that movie...
