Michael Bay... Why Must You Continue to Kill My Childhood?

Post by Tuk Tuk on Thu Oct 08, 2009 4:00 pm

First he ruins Transformers for me, now my favourite horror movie

First off, the biggest problem? No Robert Englund. This new voice...just...no. And his face is just laughable. I'm going to avoid this just like I did the Halloween and the Friday the 13th remakes.

The only question -- why? The only answer -- $$$$$.

After the HD DVD / Blu-ray / Transformers / Paramount / Michael Bay taking a suck attack fiasco... I can't stand the guy and spit every time I hear his name.

    *hork* *spit*

    He's dead to me.

    Impressive use of the spit-fluff.

I hate, hate, HATE, Michael Bay! It all started with Armageddon and Pearl Harbour. Both horrible movies. One of his worst re-makes was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The original was twisted and creepy and awesome, and he completely missed the mark. B-Horror movies should never be re-made into a huge budget productions. Then he goes and makes a bad movie in The Amityville Horror, and makes it even worse. Now I see he is in production to re-make The Birds. He has no right touching anything Alfred Hitchcock related. The guy needs to be stopped. Rob Zombie is another one who needs to be stopped. These guys are so uncreative, it's not funny. Sorry for the rant, but Michael Bay is a horrible human being.

    Bravo!

I'm just still pi$$ed at him for having a hand in HD-DVD's demise.

I actually liked Rob Zombie's movies.

His movies are extended White Zombie video's. He should just do his own thing and stay away from trying to re-make every good 80's horror flick. He just seems cheesy and obvious to me. Hard to explain.

Nightmare on Elm Street is the first "quality" horror flick I can remember, since Hallowe'en. Even the critics can't pan that movie.
