Fear of flying too ey? He just can't do it, his anxiety is apparently just horrible. Life goes on, I was peeved at him for not coming here when he was so generously offered a nice position, but I understand now that it's beyond his control.

Oh really eh... I never heard that he had those problems... Has he always had it or is it just getting worse?

I think he's always had them, but tried to work through it earlier in his career. Oh well...he made some good coin doing what he loved. He can coach a hockey clinic if he wants, work with younger kids etc.

To be honest his issues go way further than just the fear of flying. I good friend of mine was his neighbour when he was in Toronto. HE has suffered from bi-polar depression ever since th death of his brother. He will never recoup from it I fear. He's a really great guy. I met him with my daughter 3 years ago at an animal charity event. He gave all teh kids signed stuff.
