    An alternate ending to "Lost"

Post by wprager on Thu May 27, 2010 6:16 pm

Well, we all knew it would happen. Invariably, just to hide the *real* ending, or to provide some easter eggs for the inevitable box-set, there likely were several alternate endings filmed for lost. This is just one of (I'm guessing) many to come.

If you haven't seen the series finale, stop right now.

    I mean it.

Seriously, dude, if you don't want to be spoiled, hit "Home" and then pick another topic to view.

I'll stick a few more blank lines here.

I was very satisfied with the (real) ending. And now I'm looking to get the first couple of seasons on blu ray to start re-watching with my soon-to-be 14-year-old. Amazon.com has the full series for $194 (and I could probably swing it bringing it across the border somehow (I've got a sister and several in-laws in the States), but I don't want to wait until August 24.

Know anyone who was disappointed with the ending and wants to sell their box-sets? Has to be blu ray and since I can get them brand new for $35/season (Walmart.com, Frys.com) it would have to be around $30/season for second-hand.

OK, I'm interested. Unfortunately I'd put in a bid on eBay a day or two ago. There's 7 days and 15 hours left. *Now* I remember why I hate auctions and usually just go for the Buy Now ones.

Do you know what you want for yours?

Ah, you must be going for this: http://www.sl-lost.com/2010/05/28/lost-the-complete-collection-season-6-blu-ray-dvd-details/

Let me see how the auction on eBay turns out. I'm the high-bid now with $51, but there's still 6 days left. My top-price for that one is a little below your $150.

Speaking of endings, I watched the first half of the Chuck S3 finale last night. What a great finale (and I've got another hour still to go). Honestly, why doesn't anyone watch this show? With Lost gone this is in my top-two (with Fringe) for hour-long shows, and probably my #1 overall because it's also a comedy.

Of course I may be overly praising it because I watched the Flashforward finale just before that, so it *definitely* benefited from the comparison.

If you haven't been watching Chuck, go and rent S1 from Blockbuster. S1 is fairly short (4 discs). S1 is pretty good, but S2 gets better.

Your in for an excellent second half... The finale kept me on the edge of my seat the whole entire time... Definetly the 2 best episodes IMO so far...

    Enjoy!

    I can't wait. I'm seriously debating whether I should get the box-sets.
