OTT signs one of Z. Michalek, Kubina, or Lydman/Tallinder (whichever guy plays the right side of the ice). Long shot with Foster -- a good 5/6 guy, but don't know if he's a top 4 guy right now.

One of these four guys will be a Sen tomorrow or soon after. Unless we come to an 11:59am agreement with Volchenkov. Unlikely, I know, but I'm just covering my bases.

Michalek to the Sens
Volchenkov to the Caps
Cullen back to Carolina
Frolov to Toronto (gut feeling)

Other than that, no idea. Where will Gonchar go? Do we see any trades (Souray, Savard?). I hope its anything but passive tomorrow.

Come on Murray!!

Anyone going to trade for Souray? He's being shopped like mad... again...

Souray is a lefty, though, isn't he? I guess Phillips could switch and play right, but ideally I'd prefer a right-hand shot. What about Bryan McCabe, according to this picture he shoots right:

P.S. In case it's hard to see, that's Dustin Brown. Gotta love eBay. eBayer beware!

Dreger: Toronto will make calls today on most of the key ufa's. They're targeting a 3rd line forward and another D-man. Stockpiling for later deals

Your depth has to be pretty bad if you are targeting a third liner. This isn't a March deadline deal, targeting a third liner who's won a Cup (and we all know how well *that* can turn out).

Lies. I'm sure Murray will make a depth signing much like Robitaille or Ruutu.

Forget about the fact that we need another top line player (we've only got 2), and a shot blocking defenceman, I don't see Murray being able to fill the holes that need to be filled. My god, I can't take another season like two years ago when all he did was patchwork.
