Regher is not what he once was, and he his a big price tag. He's not going to land a big, big piece in any trade for those reasons, I'd say.
That said, I like Regher, and CGY needs him more than Semin. That, and I'm not a big Semin fan. Guy doesn't show up when it matters.
Yeah but all that should matter for now is regular season for Calgary. Let the chips fall where they may if they make the playoffs.

Really, tho', why do you include OTT at all if you're WAS or CGY?
Anyway, CGY is way over the cap, and they need to shed money, not take more on. My guess is they just bury / loan out / give away Kotalik to make it work. I can't see Regher being a cap casualty.

Kotalik is the one that would be bought out or demoted, I would think. Regher would be moved to make room on defence for one of the younger guys like TJ Brodie who the flames are high on. I think moving Regher could help them add some depth or get that quality center.

I want Semin though (insert joke here). We upgrade like hell at D (the Caps are wondering why their arse hurts so much), but I want that sniping winger. Might take a little more than Kuba though.

Quit dogging Kuba. Your opinion will change in about a month into the season when you see him flourishing on our 3,4 pairing and 2nd PP unit.

If he's healthy, he'll be great for us, but surely you're not saying Kuba's enough to land Semin?

Your deal has semin going to Calgary. I'd like to see Regher but it won't work without Murray moving money elsewhere. Maybe Kovalev out west as well. Hmmm say LA.

Not a chance Kuba is enough to land Semin.
I'm just excited to see what this team can do. This team has chemistry and they get along. That is big in my books.

I was being funny more than anything.
If Calgary trades Regher for a top end forward it better be a center, because they aren't that bad on the wings. I don't see Semin as a guy that makes it worthwhile.
