Bolts take game 1. How does that go -- you're never in trouble until you lose one at home?

My kid's all miffed at me now. He wanted to pick Tampa in 5 and I questioned the wisdom of that choice, so he ended up going with Caps in 6. I picked Caps in 7 and I think I'm good with that. Ovechkin will have to wake up, though. 2 shots with the most ice time of all forwards.

Jared Cowen and the Chiefs need to win tonight to get back to even in their series with Portland. They play in about 5 minutes.

Sharks get a 4 minute PP in OT. Wings kill it off but can't get the puck out. Shot from the corner/circle deflects off at least a couple of sticks and through Howard's legs. They'll need a better effort next game, for sure.
Speaking of better effort, Spokane wins 8-3 in a penalty filled affair -- 90 minutes handed out, 17 PPs in total (Portland was 1 for 10 while the Chiefs were 2 for 7). Cowen with an assist.

Nope. Ferriero. He was well rested. Only played something like 5 minutes.

NO to the Sharks. The thought of douchebag Heatley winning ANYTHING before Alfie is downright sacreligious (sp?). Heatley deserves NOTHING.
Call it sour grapes.. because that is what it is...

Again, the Wings looked bad. They had better wake up - and quick - or it'll be a short series.

I think Detroit was likely a little rusty. Especially Zetterberg. They'll be better. And SJ will have to be better too.

Philly is getting spanked. 5-1 before they finally pull Boucher.

Philly's goaltending will be their downfall this series.

True, but I think it'll haunt them this round. We'll see, I guess.

Complete Domination by Nashville during the 3rd and they tie it on a bounce with a min left
Nashville's D is incredible on the offensive blue line.
