Doug Jarvis! How could I forget?

Thomas is so bad-Donkey.

It's too bad the reffing was kinda iffy. I wasn't really cheering for either side but I was hoping for a controversy-free game.

Anyway, GJ Bruins. :KKK:

What a bunch of morons... Just like Hab fans... Burn your city because you team loses.

I don't remember that kind of crap going on in Ottawa when the Sens lost... did it?

One thing I'm glad about: you know if Boston had lost this some Leaf fans would be saying they "won" the Kessel deal because he would have been the difference for the Bruins. As if the Bruins had any real choice about letting him go. But I do recall seeing that when Boston lost to Philly last year.

So does this cement Recchi for the HHOF? 3 Cups, scoring at a PPG in the finals at 43 years of age.

He's been a lock for quite some time.

Letting Chara walk was the worst mistake any franchise has made in the last 10-20 years of NHL hockey. I said this way before he won the cup, this just shuts, those who doubted him, right up. Literally a move that put The Sens back 10-15 years.

Eh I thought he was just ok these playoffs; not bad but not dominant...definitely great last night though. He wasn't the reason they won the Cup, that's for sure (Timmy T).

Agreed with this. He was a part of the team, but not more than all the other guys.
I think Seidenberg was their best D. The worst mistake any franchise has made in the last 20 years is a bit exagerated. I think the Islanders have some moves that will challenge that easily (including the Chara trade to Ottawa itself)

It wasn't "the Chara trade". They were trading the 2nd overall for Yashin, and threw in this tall kid who didn't speak good english and wasn't the best skater around. They forgot that big/tall take longer to develop (especially so for D-men), and when your legs, arms and stick are *that* long you don't have to be the quickest out there.

Wow... those riots were insane... I shut it down right after the handing out of the cup and didn't even know there were riots until I got up this morning. Insanity. A low point for hockey in Vancouver for sure... reminded me of the G8/G20 madness here in Toronto.

I saw this last night. This was one of the worst things I saw yesterday. Several people got stabbed yesterday, many of which were bruins fans.

Forget the hockey game, vancouver has set a black eye on its self yesterday. I can understand the hooliganism and anarchy of toppling cars and looting, but to seriously stab people? Including fans of the winning team? maybe this game is taken a little too seriously in some areas. How come we didn't see this in calgary, edmonton, and ottawa? Hell we didn't even see this in Montreal when they lost the conference finals last year. Congratulations vancouver, you officially get the worst canadian fanbase award.
