Yeah, seems a bit soon for this, but perhaps his injuries got the better of him. Too bad indeed.

He doesn't need to work, so unless they could offer him something he wanted, what's the use. I wonder, though, when Feb/March rolls around and someone needs a bit of experience to help with a playoff run. Someone like the Caps, perhaps?

I believed Buffalo was going to sign him but I guess he burned those bridges. Ultimately I believe the injuries did him in.
