Yeah, so people say. What exactly do you get done with your BB that you couldn't with an iPhone?
It comes down to email/calendar/contact management. With my BB, I manage 6 email accounts along with full calendar/contact/task/memo integration with Outlook. Very hard to do with an iPhone. Productivity vs Entertainment.
There's no question, BB does email better. But everything else, it doesn't. When I need to look at a simple website run an app, I want to smash my POS BB on the pavement. I installed BBOS 6 recently and it's much better, but still the BOLD is slow as hell compared to my wife's IP4.

A lot of companies are moving towards iPhones on the corporate network. There is support for Exchange and Active Sync on iPhone. The only issue becomes the company's tolerance for secure communications etc...

Real cheap men use whatever the company policy says. I actually asked if I could get an Android as real men wouldn't use products designed for the dilettante. Who wears a turtleneck? In the 21st century?

One guy in my group has an iPhone and always uses it to send mail. It always arrives in plain-text, stripped of any/all formatting. I'm hoping that the BB does a better job.
P.S. YES. You need HTML or RTF for today's business-related mail.

Yeah, for web browsing... the BB was far behind the competition for a very long time, especially the small screen BBs. BB 7.x has come a long way and the 9900's screen is sweet. But you really need a big high res screen to enjoy web browsing on a mobile device. Like Android and iPhone. The BB Torch has a nice screen but it's still low res. That's always been a beef of mine. Crank the damn dpi's on these things.
The first BB10 device looks to address those issues.. we'll see...

A good read comparing 10 key features. iPad 2 came out as the winner but it was very close.

If you want to load it up with movies and media, I'd go 32GB min. I've got a load of movies on mine that I bring on the road with me. My wife has a 16GB iPad2 and we're constantly shuffling movies on and off due to the reduced space.
And at the prices these days, it's only $50 more for double the space... 32GB is $249 and 64GB is $299 now.

I did. It wasn't automatically enabled. But is there a better way to select the highlighted selection than hitting return or the main key? I guess I should keep one of the thumbs close to the main key all the time.

The return or main key? Hmmm, I'm a novice at this too, but when I type in a few letters it gives me 5 selections at the top of the keyboard and I touch the word.

Yes, that's the other way. I kept trying the space key (because it's handy, and because that's how you select a highlighted menu item in Windows) but that obviously did not work. I just find all those keys not as convenient. Oh, well.
Did you know you can double-click the space bar and it generates a period and a space to end the sentence? Now, how do I make it insert *two* spaces after a period?

No, I can read.
Are you going to tell me that the iPad 3 won't be awesome?
I bought my wife an iPad 2 in January, and now I'm fighting her for it all the time. It really is incredibly handy, and replaces a PC for pretty much everything a casual user would need...plus the Apps. It's all about the Apps. Plus battery life that let's you go for 12 straight hours is really Cussing impressive.

Not saying it won't be awesome. Just sayin' that some minor changes are exaggerated alot by the media and apple. They'll headline iPad3 by saying 'quad-core + lte+ retina display' and people will jump at the opportunity to get it.
iPad is an awesome device, I'll be one of the first to admit that but its only because of the apps. However, I can't view flash on it (lots of times I stream hockey off my PB). Sure you can say 'there's an app for it' and all that. Also I can't open excel files or save PDfs from an email, and I have to use iTunes to transfer everything. Just not my thing. However I think their virtual keyboard is still 2nd to none, way better to type on.

Re: Apps for Blackberry Playbook?
I just got my Playbook yesterday (and sold my iPad 1). For what I bought it for it's ideal - Blackberry Bridge.
Loaded lots of apps and Android apps on it already. The iPad experience is better IMHO having now owned both. I'll see if I'll end up keeping it or not. Some stupid annoyances on the Playbook - no AC3 filter, can't browse network shares, no SSH client, not turn by turn navigation - my iPad had all these with Apps I bought.
But bridge is brilliant though.
