Use this thread to discuss everyone's favourite sub joint....

I had a BLT (Bacon Lettuce and Tomato), not BMT (Balony Mutton and Tomato) for a cool $5

The best Subway sub is, and will always be, the $5 footlong pizza sub. Not only is it $5, but it has pepperoni and the meatball sauce. A simply delicious combination. Top it off with lettuce, pickles, onion, and hot peppers, and you have yourself the finest sandwich known to man.

Alternatively, I also just had the egg salad $5 footlong, and it was scrumptious too...just like Mom used to make.

We have that too. Only a smaller portion without the bread bowl for twice the price.

If you're buying lasagna in a bowl from Tim Horton's, you deserve your fate.

Aren't the footlongs for $5 in Canada based on a metric foot - 12 cm ?

This bears repeating:

US Americans don't even have to be subjected to that menu "choice". If there was egg salad on a US Subway menu, it would come in at about 65 cents with a free 60 oz. drink!

Can we use the Subway thread to say how awesome Quiznos' Prime Rib Peppercorn sandwich is?

Cause it really is awesome.

As long as you demonstrate how Canadian consumers are getting Cussed over on the price.

Whatever, we are healthier than Americans. I guess all that cheap, fast food is contributing to their poor overall health. Sarcasm
