It's like Ray Emery.....he has yet to play against the sens in Ottawa. I think he'll finally get his shot next Friday.

Ray Emery will? Are we playing the Hawks? And if so...will they have a new goalie by then?

We're playing the hawks on Friday March 2nd. Who knows what their goalie situation will be, but I think they'll have Khabibullin back....I would assume Emery will stay on as the backup, and if so, I'm sure he'll get the start.

Khabibulin is out a week to 10 days. He also plays for the Oilers.

But he's out 7-10 days. You can't trade someone on the IR (although I don't think he is).

Sorry, I guess I was thinking of waivers or buyouts -- you can't do one or the other (or both) when the player is on the IR. I think.

Leafs tie it up, then Devils re-claim the lead. MacArthur and Ponikarovsky have both scored for the Devils.
Winnipeg ahead 4-3, now half way through the third.
Rangers still sleeping.
Habs down 1-0to Dallas; someone named Garbutt with his first.
Buffalo up 2-0 on the Islanders.
Columbus destroying the Sharks 6-2. What's happening???!

OF COURSE the two teams immediately in front of us and the two teams right behind us all get points when they're playing each other.

Unbelievable.
All the teams ahead of the Sens grab 2 points. All the teams behind the Sens grab 1 point. And they all played each other tonight. Only team not picking up points was the Rags, who are way ahead.
Bah.

The Caps play in Ottawa on Wednesday, go back home to play the Habs on Friday night and then fly back to play in Toronto on Saturday night. Looks like the pro-Toronto scheduler was at it again.

The way they're playing, I don't think it could matter.

Nah. Just a quirk. Just like loading up the front of the schedule so we'd be out of it by November.

Worst possible outcome would've been the Jets and Leafs both getting the 2 points.

A closer look at Pronger and his "35+" contract...

Sounds like his recovery is not going well. Looks like he'll be on the LTIR for a while now.
