Who's the 3rd nominee right now? People on HF say they think Giroux, but Spezza has eclipsed some of his achievements at this point.

Not that I personally believe he'll be nominated right now, but out of curiosity.

I think you need to look at the team, where people expected them to be and how much influence Spezza is having on their success.

Those criteria could be used for Moustache for his potential nomination for coach of the year as well. Too bad neither guy will get much consideration.

Oh no, Lundqvist is just meh according to the Pens announcers. Apparently Biron has a huge winning record as well, so Lundqvist isn't that important to the team. Fleury is more important they say.

Giroux had a quiet 5 assist night, Stamkos a quick 4 pointer. Both leapfrog Spezza.

My future sister in law taught a girl who would usually say something disrespectful and/or inappropriate to a classmate, such as "you're an idiot" but would defend herself by saying that she was "just sayin'", like it is a reasonable excuse.
