Heh heh. What a shocker. Think he'll play in the NHL again?
Man, remember when we were all hot 'n heavy for him... back in the day...

Well, that's pretty impressive. He hasn't scored all year and he notches one immediately after moving. This say anything about San Jose?

Apparently Brassard is in the lineup as well.. Arrived just before the game with an escort to rush him through NYC.

    that was funny.
now the best thing the flames could do right now is fire feaster. And I mean RIGHT NOW. don't wait till before or after the draft. RIGHT Cussing NOW. pray to god that ownerships makes a good choice on the future GM(heck, make an offer to Poile's assistant manager) so that he can assemble a drafting team ASAP and get ready for june. Feaster will Diddle it up worst then if they stuck a smoking monkey in his place.
it's not even funny how calgary hasen't seen the last of this Dung.

They should fire their scouting staff as well.

Crazy night last night, lots of lopsided games. Are the Rags for real now? They have a pretty soft schedule to close out the year:

    Pit x 1, Carolina x 2, Toronto x 2, Isles x 1, Philly x 1, Florida x 2, Buf x 1, NJ x 2.

I think we should be able to keep ahead of them in the standings (they are 5 pts behind us), but after their performance last night, you'd think they'll make the playoffs.

Washington is 2 pts behind Winnipeg for the Southleast division lead, but Wash has 2 games in hand...so the question for us, is would we rather have a 1st round matchup against the Jets or Caps? I think I'd rather play the Jets.

Heatley took a nasty two-hander from Vlasic at the buzzer. It was right after the two exchanged some cross-checks, and Heatley swung and missed with his stick from a prone position on the ice (in Heatley's defence it looked like he was swinging for the stick). Vlasic got 5 and a game for the slash but, given that it happened after the final buzzer, I wouldn't be surprised if Shanny gave him a game to make up for that. It also wasn't clear if he was hurt on the slash or on the ensuing tussle where Vlasic jumped on him and slammed him to the ice.

Heatley seems like Shanaban's kind of douchebag, so Vlasic will get a suspension!
