The media has done exactly what they didn't want him to become... which is clearly loved by all.

Rob Ford is taking a leave of absence to address his substance abuse problems. I guess the "come to Jesus" moment didn't take.

Another video of him smoking crack was recorded on Saturday, at his sisters house.

The recording, according to the Sun, was covertly taped by bar patron and captured Ford making crude comments about fellow mayoral candidate Karen Stintz. Ford reportedly said of Stintz: Id like to fg jam her [Stintz], but she doesnt want I cant talk like this Im so sorry.

Well, he's finally taking a leave of office to get help for substance abuse.

Another crack video has surfaced from last Saturday.

    Man oh man.

He'll still win the next election tho.

    Book it!

So, apparently Ford refused to stand for a standing ovation given to the World Pride organizers. Then he was the lone vote against looking into assigning a couple of beds to LGBT youth in the city's shelters.

Apparently the call to assign the beds comes out of research identifying LGBT youth as making up a disproportionate number of homeless youth (over 20%).

He walks to his own beat... the not standing to recognize the organizers was bad.

His counter to the vote against was that he felt it was a waste of money and called himself "spendaphobic" not "homophobic".

    Never a dull moment...

The annoying part is that the vote was just to look into the idea. Even if the idea went forward, the beds are already there. It's simply a matter of allocation. Doesn't cost a dime. Facepalm

So apparently he's been having bad stomach pains for a while, that became unbearable recently. Went to the doctor and the working diagnosis is a tumor. They'll keep in hospital for a few days to get a better idea what they're dealing with.

Rob has withdrawn from the mayoral race here in Toronto. Not sure if Doug will run in his place.
