Rob has withdrawn from the mayoral race here in Toronto. Not sure if Doug will run in his place.

I'm sure there will be a lot of that coming out in the next few days... would not be surprised to see a parade...

Rob is going to run as a Councillor apparently. He'll run in the Ward that Doug was running in.

So, they basically switch places. HA.

They probably played that trick on a few teachers growing up.

Bob Ford only went into politics because someone once told him he'll never see "Rob Ford" and "running" used in the same sentence.

It's like an Adam Sandler movie.

Oh, then you mean completely unlike an Adam Sandler movie, right?

No, Doug wasn't running and had said that he was looking forward to not being at city hall anymore!

Doug currently represents ward 2 but their nephew Mike Ford was running for the position Doug was vacating. Now Mike had to withdraw from the elction for ward 2 so that Rob Ford can run in his old ward. What a merry go 'round. Vertigo

Ford, being asked about the early diagnosis: "It's not good...I guess the good Lord wants me somewhere else."
