Nope. Inflation everywhere, especially in growing industries. Remember when gas was only 3 digits including the decimal?

Not exactly. He said they were coming in at 12 million a year and it might get down to 10 million.

He also said double digit salaries will become the new norm. That's pretty scary.

And people think we'll resign Ryan for $5M-$6MLaughing3

It'd probably be worth getting Bobby R locked up long-term (8 years) at something like $7M per.

Bobby Ryan will probably get around 8 years at 6.5... that's my official guess. Word of the Lord.

Karlsson should have signed for 15 years when it was still possible.

Depending on his year, that may just be the number.

Sounds like the BOG has approved Daly's plan to the draft lottery. Details to come, but this could be interesting news in the Connor McD sweeps.

Is he getting Hossa'd with a sign and trade?

    Caphit? Sure.

I think he'll be looking for a frontloaded deal with the salary approaching $10M in the first few years and tailing off in the last few years. Pretty much what Kessel gets, I think that's what his agent will use as a comparable.

And Ottawa can sign him to an 8-year deal which they should.

Is it weird that Kessel has never scored 40 goals? I find that weird. Of course, the only time he had a legit #1 centre was in Boston.

Ribeiro bought out. It was an ordinary course buyout. Does that mean it hits their cap?
