Guy is and always has been a legit prospect, poor man's Dan Boyle, been saying that for a long time. He just needs a shot but he might not get it up in Ottawa.

That's ok, I can pump my own tires lol... although he hasn't played a single game in the NHL. He should be decent trade bait but who knows.

Also Nick Paul just had his second hat-trick last night.

You hope Paul turns out like a Stone did. Ottawa's future and even their present is bright.

Wideman is second in the AHL in scoring.  Not bad for a d-man.

Wideman is going to have to get a shot fairly soon, he's done everything the organization has asked of him as well. There isn't a ton of room for him up in Ottawa but he's a guy who will go to another organization and perhaps really solidify himself as an NHL talent. Great draft pick IMO.

Things will shape up on the defensive end once Methot is back. Sens will be over their active roster limit with Lazar making the team, and they'll have to do something. Lots of teams are down defencemen right now while other teams are still pushing to improve.

Nick Paul has 14 goals, just like Connor McDavid. McDavid has 25 more assists, though. Clearly McDavid is playing with better talent who can put the puck in the net. Sarcasm

So Nick Paul's invited to Team Canada evaluation camp. Harpur not invited. Bummer.

What about Lazar? His name is not on the list, what gives? Is he a shoe-on because he was there last year and still eligible?

Ah, players on NHL rosters are not invited to camp (they'd be shoe-ins if their club let them go).
