That was pretty much the whole team though. What are zbad's points per game in the second half? We're obviously not gonna play next year like we have the last 20 games but if we get 60 from Turris and 50-55 from Zib, we don't need a center. Still love to add ROR though.

I'm trying to remember, I'm pretty sure when Turris went ice cold it was Zbad's line that propped us up a bit. Turris just needs to gain a little consistency, which is easier said than done, but we've seen some amazing things from him with Stone, so it's definitely possible.

I'm pretty sure it didn't. Which is why we are where we are today.

You'd have to go back and see where Turris had that horrific streak and then see how Zib's line did. I'm pretty sure they propped us up.

I did, no correlation. Turris had a bad January (6 points), that's about the only bad stretch unless you want to focus on3-4 pointless stretches.

    "Probably not."

About the worst stretch I can see is Jan. 6 to Feb. 7 where Turris had 4 pts. and was - 6. Luckily, he was propped up by Zibanejad's herculean effort of 8 pts. and -2.

Huh, interesting. Yep, that's basically why we'll miss - if we miss.

Let's all admit what really happened here. The Hamburglar came in and suddenly made everyone look good to the point that they got confident enough to play well, play within a system and trust in the system.

I started to notice that Hamburger fella after reading about him on the so-called "inter net." You might be on to something.

That interweb is really something. I bet it catches on real soon.

There is no team in hockey that has a 3rd line centre with 50 pts lol.

Didn't Mike Fisher come in around that number as a third line C with the Sens for a while?

Interesting seeing the other team's (fans/writers) perspective.

Good old "Matt" Hofman and his rocket shot.
