You'd have to be a framing psychic to know this could even happen!
This is nothing short of a miracle... On ice! Everything coming together perfectly.

This has the chance to be one of the best ottawa teams out there. No disrespect to alfie, chara, redden and hossa days but this is a crazy team building. We need to bring in another top line LW and mature the guys we have and we will be gold!

This is kind of how I pictured the team when they were at their peak in 2, 3 years perhaps but never this soon. They are still young and you can tell but the talent is huge and the games they are winning are against the leagues best.

I'd rather have Michalek or Puempel in instead of Smith, but yeah, everything else can stay the same. And Ev, Diddle off with the Cowen nonsense.

Watching that Stone goal in OT again and again and I am still amazed how great it was to take it from skate to stick and shelf it in basically one motion.

And the shot was ridiculous. He knows how to score...always finds the open spot. Top 5 in the league in scoring since Jan 1st.

Stone should be rookie of the year if the Sens make the playoffs because he will be the reason and you cannot say that about any other rookie.

I think he should be rookie of the year regardless of the playoffs. His numbers warrant it, including leading the league in takeaways. Rookie of the year and the Selke winner.

You know what's funny? He should be up for the Selke. Has a rookie ever won it?

Remember when people used to say Turris was not and will never be a #1 center... ah yah.

#1 center with a #1 winger. Nothing less.

    What. A. Game.

After the first I ran into my brother in law (he's got season tickets). I was very upset. My wife bought me three pairs of tickets for Christmas and they lost the first two and were down 3-0 in this one. But my brother-in-law said (to my daughter) don't worry, they'll come back, they'll win.

If there's one thing this team has taught us over the past couple of years, it's to never count them out.

Ev wrote:The 3rd is ours. We're gonna Diddle em up. Pens top players were invisible in the second for the most part

Their top players didn't do much in the first either. The first goal is one that Hammond would like to have another look at, for sure. That was pretty weak, best player or not. The second one a Pens player stood in the crease interfering with him and fell over him as the shot came. Third one was a fluke. Somebody's go to look up and swat it away. This is the second time I've seen this happen to Hammond. Anyhow, that goal was luck.

Malkin, what a diver. They introduced the Fab Four -- the Canadian women's diving team. Well I'd say the Fab Five were in attendance. That "tripping" penalty to Ryan was an unbelievable piece of diving. Ryan's stick was to his left, nowhere near his feet, and he was just trying to get position on him. Malkin places his had/arm on Ryan's head and pushes him into the ice, then falls over him. There was absolutely no trip.

Methot hits him against the boards and he swoons. Then realizes there's no penalty and suddenly, miraculously recovers.

Crosby not much better. Borowiecki got hurt too, nobody blew the whistle for him. By the way, never did see a replay (and forgot to set the PVR) what happened to Boro? I just saw him falling down and spinning on the ice. Looked pretty bad for a while.

It looked like he schmucked his knee up pretty good, but BoroCop is part machine.

Oh Hammond is 18-1-2... have we talked about that yet?
