BTW, those of you on my side of, oh, let's say 40, might remember the *original* "Let It Go":

Rock it, Luba!

Tokarski will start for the Habs, and we'll see Matrix for Ottawa.

Girl had pipes, I'll give her that.   Nanette Workman before her -- Montreal had some talent back then.  Just didn't market it properly.  Workman could hit the high ones before we ever heard of Mariah.

Anyway, aren't we here to talk hockey?  Karlsson explodes tonight. Book it.

Aargh! I accidentally deleted the first post! That's it, I need an 8-9" tablet. And skinnier fingers. And who the Diddle thinks its a good idea to put edit and delete next to each other and then the yes and no confirmation buttons next to each other as well? Geeze, put a little space between them.

GAME DAY #30: Senators @ Canadiens - 7:00pm - Saturday Dec. 12 2015

In the Sixth Game of Christmas my True Sens gave to me,
Six Give-aways
FIVE POWER PLAAAAAYS!
Four first period PIMs,
Another three for Karlsson
Two Hoffman goals
And a loss to that team from Philly.

Here we are at the mid-point of the 12 Games of Christmas.  The Sens are 3-3 (two of those wins coming in OT).  In each of those three losses they gave up 4 goals; in their wins they only have up 3 goals once, against the defending Stanley Cup champions. There's your key to victory: give up fewer goals than you score.

I won't discuss the loss in Tampa because, frankly, I erased the game without watching it (only saw a little of the first live).

In their previous two game against Montreal this season the Sens are 1-1 (a regulation loss and a win in OT).  The Sens have scored a grand total of 3 goals in these two games, 2 of them coming from Pageau.  The loss came on Condon's first NHL win (but at least we didn't give him a shutout).  The Sens are pretty much what they've been all season -- inconsistent, not terrible, not good.  They play well against the good teams (which is not always enough to win) and they play poorly against the not-so-good teams (which is not always enough for a loss).  Montreal is a good team that is not playing well (4 game losing streak).  Some analyst on TSN690 said the losing streak is happening because Torrey Mitchell (yes, the fourth liner) was injured.  Facepalm

Who's Hot:
Mark Stone has 4 points in his last 2 games, 11 in his last 9.

Who's Cold:
Believe it or not, Erik Karlsson, who leads the team with 32 points, is pointless in 3.

I don't care enough to research the Habs hot players, but I can tell you they pretty much suck at singing:

GO SENS GO!!!

Re-created the first post from my laptop screen. It's not the first post anymore but, hey, you play with fire (delete buttons) you get your fingers burned (post deleted).

PK needs to stick to chopping people on the wrist and also being less good than Karls Karlsson.

Boston 3-1 over Florida; Sens now fourth in the Division. Jersey is 1 back and Pittsburgh 2 back but with a game in hand. Danger, Will Robinson!

Looks like Habs could get the average number of shots the Sens allow per game by the end of the first period.
