Hmmm...where have I heard that before?![]()
We all have our moments of prophetic victory. Mine was Hoffman.
Wait until Perron starts lightning the lamp at Hoffman-esq speed!

It was him and Lindberg that looked really good in last year's training camp though. Now Perron has to show he can do it at the pro level - which I think he can...with aplomb!

I'm also hoping and I think everyone is. I'm pretty sure it only depends on how much phisicality he can take. And time to adjust to the pros.PTFlea wrote:Flo The Action wrote:I think Perron flew under everyone's radar until last year.PTFlea wrote:Flo The Action wrote:Yeah yeah yeah.PTFlea wrote:Flo The Action wrote:

He does seem determined. And that should go a long ways.

Hoffman has been terrible so far this year. We're gonna regret that deal

We outplayed them tonight. They got lucky bounces

Hard to say that really, theyre a crappy team so it's hard to tell. We had a weak possession game, although we turned a lot of pucks over. And I don't recall many tough shots for mrazek.

They have many more shots than the wings. The wings aren't a crappy team, just a bubble team. But this was extremely predictable. They had every reason to win tonihtbb

Wanwanwan....... I also don't think we looked very good out there today. Struggled to keep pace. Heratic play, Hammond not really good with one on one breakaways... Nothing to write home about. Ever since the third started my stream has barely been working so I can't say I've been able to watch past the second. Probably for the best from what I could tell.

This is not true. We certainly didn't outplay them. I agree with your earlier statement that Hoffman's been bad. Ryan wasn't good either. Oh, and that first goal on Hammond was pretty terrible.
Anyway, can't win em all. We'll see Chabot tomorrow.
As for my earlier prediction of Puemepl's performance...well, he had 9 minutes and 1 shot, so I nailed it. Thank you.

Certainly did not outwork them. Only shot to beat Mrazek was a lucky bounce off a defenseman. They blocked a ton of shots -- when that happens you have to start shooting high where it hurts (like Ericsson) and drive the net. They also iced the puck a lot but we couldn't win the important face offs.
Hammond has to be a lot better, but they provided him no support at all, offensively.

The power play is as Dung as ever and probably cost us a win here.

The Hoff was pretty bad on the PP. Ill-advised turnovers in the offensive zone, etc.

No reunion of the Stone brothers tonight, as Michael is out with a knee problem for the 'Yotes.
