So the Reimers named their daughter Nevaeh. That's"heaven" spelled backwards.

Yeah. Seems like he might not be mentally able to do long stretches. He did have the weekend off but he just might not be the type of goalie that can be a starter. Maybe he tops out at 30 games. Good thing Anderson is almost ready to be back.

Condon has these games but usually comes back strong. So not sure if tired or what. Probably gets a shutout next game.

That fourth goal I think, he was not happy with Ryan's back checking. But, really, with a few exceptions the whole team was not sharp.

I didn't really notice Claesson much, but he was on for most of the goals. Mages it easier to put Boro back in.

Probably a good wakeup call too. The break's done, it's time to get back to work here.

Ryan is useless most of the time, it's really scary. The guy simply cannot get back to backcheck when he gives the puck up, which is most of the time when he even carries it. Scary...

Ryan was a dud, but Condon pretty much f'd us over. Walter is right, he has one of these games from time to time and normally bounces back well.

More terrible discussion about Ryan. He was good last night. Generated two goals.

He generated two goals for the Sens. Yes. Clearly.

I don't love him, but he gets unwarranted Dung. He's better than Dzingel yet Dzingel gets lvoe for speed.

I know the Vegas team can get trade considerations to not pick a player. I wonder if there is a way to ship them an asset to persuade them to take Ryan. Frankly, 7 large off the books could do wonders for the team.

More is expected of Bobby because #1) He's capable of more, and #2) He gets paid a Dung ton.  It's hard to hold a player's contract against them, because they just take what they can get, but the problem with Bobby is that there is a perceived lack of effort.  Nobody questions Dzingel's effort.  Dzingel just doesn't have a ton of skill, or, as I've said before, he'd be scoring 30 to 40 goals a year and making Bobby money.

Anyway, my issue with Bobby is that I don't see max effort all the time, and he has had a habit of disappearing down the stretch, and I think he's a little lazy and fat. I think he is a superb person, but just doesn't have the drive to really excel at his job. He can't spell intensity.

I would also like to point out that I've been saying these things about Bobby for over a year now, and finally other people are jumping on board.

it's not a question of effort. Speed is always confused with effort. Bobby just isn't as fast as others players.

People are jumping on board because of the circle jerk mentality of this city. It will never change. There always is a scapegoat or two. This year it's Ceci and Ryan.

I couldn't care less what he makes per year. I don't care what any player makes.

I'm telling you what the perception is of his effort. It would help if he looked like he was pushing hard to skate (regardless of his actual speed). And regardless of your feelings, he makes $7.25M, so that factors in to how people view him.

And I think it's not just an Ottawa thing, fan bases of teams always have a "scapegoat" or two, and these are usually guys who are perceived to be underperforming.
