"Captain Giggles" is back in town. Discuss.

Hey, if they can't be bothered to put on an effort, why should I?

Dallas lost 3-1 to the Leafs as the Blues were dismantling the Sens 6-0 on Tuesday. Now the Blues move on to Toronto as the Stars roll into Ottawa. This will be a tough game. Could well end up in third.

After getting shut out two games in a row, is it time to shuffle the lines? Put Stone and Hoffman with Turris, and Ryan with lefties Brassard and Dzingel.

    Hoffman-Turris-Stone
    Smith-Brassard-Ryan
    Dzingel-Pageau-Wingels
    Pyatt-Lazar-Varone

I hate taking both Chris's out of the lineup but I feel need ... the need for speed.

P.S. I also hate using an apostrophe in pluralizing something but "Chrises" just looked so awkward.

Captain Giggles is actually not in town, as he is injured and didn't go with the team on their road trip.

I'm quite sure it'll be Condon in net.

No Captain Giggles, you say. Too bad. But let me say Happy Birthday to our own Cap'n Clutch!

Looks like Andreson will backup Condon. Has Hammond been waived to be sent to the AHL?

Let's hope Anderson can come back by the weekend. Condon has been amazing though, hats off.

Hammond is backing up Condon. Anyway, hopefully it doesn't matter who the backup is.

I'm really wondering how the team is going to play tonight. They played so well in Tampa only to go into Buffalo and lay and egg. I thought they would bounce back against the Blues but didn't show up at all, it didn't matter that Hammond was in net.

With Boucher starting 7 D tonight is he hoping that they can simply defend their way to a win knowing that Dallas tends to let in plenty of goals.

Not many home games left, they need to make the most of them.

Brain fart. I must have read "Andrew" Hammond and translated that to "Andy".

Yeah, the W isn't as important as showing signs of life. That game against the Blues was a complete disaster. If they lay an egg again tonight, I think it's safe to say that there is a significant problem in the locker room (either coach vs players or players vs players).

    Fingers crossed, butthole clenched.

I didn't think they played that bad in Buffalo.

We never win against Dallas at home. Last time was like 2008. Anyways I can feel another slump busting shutout for the opposition tonight
