Gone but not forgotten - notable obituaries

Post by SeawaySensFan on Sun Feb 26, 2017 12:23 pm

RIP Bill Paxton. Many memorable roles in blockbusters (Twister, Aliens, Titanic) and smaller films (Nightcrawler).

Thank you for taking the time to set up this sanctuary for those we have lost.

    Bill Paxton was terrific.

    Also, RIP Curtis Lazar's career.

He was a great actor, probably underrated too. I watch aliens probably at least once a year.
    Tragically young.

He was also in Terminator. The leader of the punk gang that tries to pick on Arnie.

I had about 1.5 hours to kill before the game last night so I watched Commando... and there he was as "Intercept Officer." He and Arnie must have been pals.

I thought it was funny how Arnie mentions Terminator and True Lies, but not Commando.

Guess my twitter search skills are not as advanced as my Google-Fu. Did a search for RIP and thought the tweet said 21 hours ago.

    Gone *and* forgotten.

David Letterman had Wapner on and did a bit where he bribed him with Omaha Steaks. Comical.
