Phaneuf given a dumb penalty at the end of the second and Boston converts right away to start the third.

Make up call leads to an ineffective pp for the Sens, but they maintain possession as the man advantage expires, and Turris converts a Dion slap pass for his second of the night and #25 on the season.

Third one goal lead for the Senators.

Boro takes dumb penalty with six to go but Send kill it.

Bs continue to press, Rask to the bench with just under 90 second to go. Timeout Boston

25 second to go. Anderson holding the fort. Umm, almost forty.

Pageau win the last three face offs. 1.3 seconds as the puck goes over the glass.

Karlsson with an assist on Turris' pp marker. Burns has nothing half way through his game. If this holds up Karlsson will be four points back.

Detroit can't hang on to win in regulation but score in OT to take a point away from Montreal. Ottawa 3 back with a game in hand.

Sharks now with two goals, Burns still sitting on zero.

Anderson was ok, they kept most shots to the outside.

Good game. Now all they need to do is win five or six of the next ten, then 16 in a row after that.

Yes, Ev, most of the shots were from outside the goal.

Magic number is down to 15.

Leafs on Columbus tonight. The Jackets have already clinched a playoff spot, but they are 2 back of the Caps with a game in hand, so don't expect them to coast.

I don't think anyone in the Metro is going to coast. Columbus much rather play Toronto than one of Washington or Pittsburgh in the playoffs.

A Pittsburgh/Columbus matchup would be terrible for both teams. Columbus will bring it.
