Absolutely not an embarrassment. What are you talking about? We controlled the play 5 on 5
Yeah, we did so well, is that why we lost the last 3 against them? I like to think that Carey price had a lot to do with us losing but I wouldn't say we controlled the play. They matched the speed of our game. Yes Anderson could have been better but it's not solely on him.

My only hope is that the habs are playing in playoff mode against us and we haven't shown all this team can be because as it stands we ain't winning against them.
    That Cussing power Play!

That's a dumb way to look at it. And we're 22-1 against them this season.

It's just fact that the sens were bettter thnq them last night overall. They scored two soft pp goals.

They absolutely controlled the play five on five for more minutes than they did

Did we watch the same games?

Yeah we did but you probably are seeing it with emotional glasses like a lot of fans do. The games were overrated because they really didn't matter other than a meaningless division title.

Overall the season series was incredibly even and the teams will likely finish one or two points away from each other. The habs don't scare me or anyone come playoff times worst centre depth in the playoffs and they showed it last night

That's why prayers comment made no sense. Change from what? We've been doing just fine. We also dominated the habs two seasons ago and then lost in the playoffs, so regular season means nothing

This close to the playoffs I'd say it's a pretty good indication of what we can and should expect. We did a good job at limiting their shots sre and Andy could have stopped those but I looked at how the sens played in the habs end and it did not leave me impressed at all. That power play isn't working and it's obvious to anyone wantching that no one is going to the net or not as much as they should anyways. But the habs scored two in the PP, i think they were third lowest in the league on the PP before last night. We really showed them.

I can't see how players see these games as meaningless. Usually a team that enters the playoffs on a hot streak does fairly well against opponents. We'll see how that pans out on the remaining schedule.

Close or not, 3 losses in 8 nights against the same team. Doesn't get you very far in the post season.

Something has to change or we're done in five at most.

    Win? scratch

What did you mean by "close win"?

It was a close win for one of the teams.

Again, no that's not how it works. That doesn't mean that's going to happen in the playoffs. We finished 2-2-1 against them in the regular season. Nothing has to change, playa like they did yesterday and they would beat Montreal in a series no quesiton.

Ottawa was the hottest team in the NHL going into the playoffs in 2015 and we won zero rounds. Doesn't mean much of anything. The whole season matters more than one sample size. And we just got finished beating Pittsburgh and Boston.

Right now the league is just treading water waiting for the playoffs because there's only one spot up for grabs. Ottawa is safely in their spot so I would rather us coast going into the playoffs.

To be fair we'd been playing playoff hockey for over a month in 2015 by the time the playoffs actually came around.
