They gave up 20 shots in their first meeting, 27 in the second one, and 35 in the third one. That last one the Bruins were playing the second of back-to-back nights. I hope trends are made to be reversed as I don't like our chances if we give up 45 shots on goal.

If Marchand gets at least one game that will certainly help. He is (almost) a 40-goal scorer *and* he occupies people's attention in other ways. But even if he is out of the lineup we have to contend with Bergeron, Pastrnak, Krejci, Spooner, Krug, Chara, Backes, etc. Need Burrows to annoy the hell out of Rask (if he's in goal) because we certainly want to take advantage of what their D give us (which should be a lot).

There's intangibles to account for as well like the boost of having MacArthur as an inspiration, Anderson could go full beastmode, King Karl is unstoppable right now.

Any injury update on karlsson? They weren't playing him at the end of the game. I'm wondering if he's ready to go for the next game.

They were winning 2 nothing and could afford to rest him. Not sure there's more to it than that?

I'm pretty sure he suffered something to his ankle during the game

Of course he did. The question is whether it's something that will get better by tomorrow and, if not, whether it's something that could get worse if he doesn't rehab it a few more days.
