As much as I'd like to face the habs in round 2(if we get there) it would be way to delicious if they were to get bounced in the 1st round or better yet, sweeped!
Will be interesting to follow tonight.

First win by a Canadian team. Montreal squanders two leads, ties it up with 17 seconds to go in regulation, Radulov wins in OT.

Edmonton score two short handed goals and even the series with a 2-0 win. Kassian's first period goal was the winner McDavid added his half way through the third.

Pittsburgh and St. Louis with the 2-0 series leads. Columbus is done. Minnesota, not sure. Unexpected, definitely.

How does he get away with no suspension???  Ridiculous. http://www.tsn.ca/no-suspension-expected-for-jackets-calvert-1.725209

Also, this should probably be a suspension: https://twitter.com/SI_NHL/status/853095955381575680

Calvert deserved to have the book thrown at him. But if there was no injury to a non-Senator player then there is no discussion.

The Kassian hit was fine. He ducked, which made Kassian go over him. Skates were on the ice until then.

Although I picked minny to win, I got to say I'm quite happy st-Louis has the series lead and might win. Would be great for Boudreau to get more playoff losses. We'll never know for sure if there was a job offer thrown at him and wether he used that as leverage for minny ( no matter what dorion says) but to see him lose would be just fine and dandy

Apparently they took another look (at the Twitter outrage) and he *will* get a hearing.

Wow, the Leafs with a double OT win. That's two overtime games against the President's Trophy winners.

Meanwhile over at HFBoards Habs fans already looking forward to playing the beat up Bruins or the upstart Leafs (someone has to remind them they could only play Toronto in the ECF).

Calgary not in trouble yet,  but they are down 2-0 coming home. They have lost 29 straight games (22 regular season and 7 playoff) in Anaheim.  They can't advance without winning at least one.

Are the Blackhawks done? Pekka Rinne has two points in the series. The entire Chicago roster has zero. 5-0 shutout on the heels of 2-0 in game 1, and now the series shifts over to Smashville.

Just saw the Polak injury. He's done for the year, probably ankle. Is Zaitsev even ready to come back?

Anyone have a good summary of the known injuries? Boston has lost a d-man in each of their last 4 games. Can they continue holding it together or are we about to see the Sens really break through? A lucky bounce, a sub-par performance from Rask, a mistake from rookie McAvoy and we could see a have get put of hand. Chara made a mental mistake last night. He's playing too much for a 40 year old.

Up front Krejci is D2D, but is he close?

Sens lost Boro, but he wanted to come back, so probably D2D. We have Claesson, Harpur (Bingo MVP), Jokipaaka before we would have to go to the farm. Up front Stalberg is banged up, but it will take more than that before we see White, I think. Wingels, Kelly, Varone, White, Neil. That might be the order.

Other than Pokak, Thornton, Letang, do we know much of other injuries?

I think taking a series lead would go a long way towards having a better chance at winning this series. You know, apart from needing to get 4 wins Sarcasm . Mentally I mean.
