B-Sens have recalled The Hogburglar. Wonder if this means The Hamburglar is getting another look.

You kinda hope because I don’t think he was brought in to play ECHL long term. I haven’t looked at his stats this year down there but apperently that team is quite crap

Vincent Dunn was also called up from the ECHL along with Hogberg. Since they got DiDomenico back as well I can only assume someone will be going to Ottawa. DiDo and White both shoot right, Dunn is a leftie. So we may be seeing Paul again.

Apparently at today's practice Ceci was skating as the 7th D. Could mean absolutely nothing.

Good article on the athletic. Essentially mirrors everything we've said here about retaining Karlsson, Duchene and Stone. They can do it but need to move on from Brassard, Ceci and/or Phaneuf in order to do it and replace with ELCs.

    Karlsson - $11.4M AAV
    Stone - $7.5M AAV
    Duchene - $7M AAV

Build around that + Hoffman pretty much

Logic would dictate that he wouldn’t cost that much but he’ll be a UFA so they might have to pay that much.

Another thing with Duchene is he doesn’t look stoked to be here. Just judging from the interviews and his enthusiasm level just isn’t there. I wouldn’t be surprised if he will want to hit FA

They usually televise old timers' games.

    http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/ottawa-senators-ask-no-trade-lists/sn-amp/

Apparently they have *10* with NTCs and are planning to ask for a no-trade list from each. Melnyk was displeased when Karlsson publicly stated he won't give a hometown discount.

I kinda agree with that. It's one thing to make a negotiation stand but quite another to be so public about it. Nothing wrong with what he said, and I expected him to say it, just not into a microphone.

Well, there you go. Kypreos says he would absolutely move Karlsson. A "no brainer" - and he should know.
