    GDT: Senators @ Oilers - Oct 14, 2017, 10:00PM

Assume Condon in for Anderson. Oduya in for Jaros who was sent back to Belleville. Go with 7D again or slide Brown in? If 6D then who sits?

    Draisaitl is out.

    Go Sens.

I have to admit I did not think the Senators would be up by 2 after 12 minutes and out shooting the Oilers 8-1, nice.

I like this Chabot-led powerplay. Another assist. 2-0 Sens early.

These sens have reaffirmed my faith in this team! I didnt think wed win these two games but 12 goals later they are proving they can beat the best of them. Its going to scary when Karlsson comes back!

Wow, who would've thought our closest game would have been against Vancouver.

As good as most of our forwards have been, Turris has taken it to another level.

Which makes that turris trade talk more ridiculous. I understand that its best not to commit too much term to any player (not named Karlsson) but heres a guy just getting better that can likely be you number 2 center down the road long term. I hope it gets done 6x6

I think if 6 x 6 was an option it would have been done a long time ago. That's the catch

He's not getting better. He has to have his best year ever in a contract year. But he's not going to get any better in reality
