    GDT: Canadiens @ Senators - Oct 30, 2017, 7:30PM

Post by wprager on Mon Oct 30, 2017 9:33 am

Have the Habs turned the corner with that Rangers game or are they concerned about Price giving up 4 on 26, the blown 3-0 lead or the fact that they were playing against Pavelec and not Lundquist. Or Anderson?

Sens are second in the Atlantic, just 4 points back of the Bolts (with a have in hand), and the only team in the East with only one regulation loss.

And this is with Karlsson missing the first five, Turris the last three, Ryan with another broken finger and so on.

    Go Sens Go!!!

McCormick called up. I didn't realize he ever left. Guess Turris will miss one more game.

Also didn't realize he was sent down. To save money I guess, a paper transaction. I hope Turris is good to go...I can't imagine him still being sick.

I'm going to request that the Sens obliterate the Habs.

    Thanks in advance.

The Turris thing is weird.... Too bad he'll be missing this game - it's always nice to have all hands on deck to destroy the Habs. Hopefully they're satisfied with their recent victory and we pound 'em.

Knowing Boucher, he'll make sure they're on the same page to suffocate them and frustrate them all night. All Montreal wants right now is to try to score some goals and if you frustrate them, good things can happen.

Sens going 11-7.  Turris and McCormick will sit.

    Habs are starting Al Montoya.

    Montoya: 4.42 GAA, 0.863 SV%
    Price: 3.64 GAA, 0.883 SV%

    That's got to be a league-worst tandem.

I don’t think it’s weird. He’s sick. I think people are looking way too much into these Turris rumours. Sure something needs to happen with his contract but I figure a new contract will happen.

They are trying to keep him from infecting the rest of the team. It's not the flu, which is bacterial, they said it was a virus. I just went through a really bad cold and it was nasty. For two days I couldn't hear anything out of my left year. Coughing so much I threw out my back.

Yes, I understand that he is sick...it's just weird that it's now been 3 games. You don't see that happen very often.

IMO if Pageau has another great game then it's pretty clear he can play 2C again. He stepped up when Turris was hurt two years ago too.

I think Montoya plays us really well. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like he's a guy that has our number.
