Coming along, finding his game. Still leaves to see if he can produce on the bottom two lines on a respectable basis.

I have no problem using a 4th line spot for a PP specialist.  DiDominico brings something to the power play that we have been missing.

It's a good loss if it refocuses them

Im starting to worry a bit. I see our position in the standings as misleading. Without those OT losses we are one win ahead of a team like Montreal. Even Detroit has more wins. This feels like a paper tiger waiting to crumble. I'm surf Dorion sees this if he's been scouting other teams. He's looking to add before it catches up

I wouldn't worry too much considering the injury problems we've had to go through already. Karlsson will take a bit of time to round back into form, the flu has gone through, Turris has missed a couple games, Bobby's out for a bit, Zack Smith was out for a bit.... Things will hopefully settle down and they'll get rolling again.

I dunno. Every team goes through injuries. The test is for them to pull through it.

We still need a big move.

Yeah, this. Karlsson, Smith, Ryan, MacArthur all out and we've lost twice in 11 games in regulation. We have work to do to stifle opponents a bit more than we've been doing, but this loss should put that back into primary focus.

Yes, every team goes through injuries. Usually the teams struggle a bit. We're still 2nd in the Division and are looking forward to the returns of Turris, White and Ryan (Smith already back).

I think the time is coming to go out and get a TOP LINE winger. I put those in capitals to make sure that's realized. We're close, but we need to add a piece or two.

All you have to do is look at our lineup -- Pyatt and Dzingel in the top six, DiDomenico Rodewald in the bottom six. You may argue that Dzingel is a legint top-six but I doubt he's a top-six any of the top-15 teams in the league. I don't think anyone would argue that Pyatt should be lower even on the Sens. DiDomenico is an intriguing story but, let's face it, without Boucher he'd still be playing in Europe. And Rodewald, we have nearly a half dozen prospects that are better, but since roles are important they called up a 4th liner for the 4th line.

This is how the Sens will add a TOP forward: Bobby "Fingers" Ryan. Then you add White and push Pyatt to the 3rd/4th line and Rodewald/DiDo out of the lineup.

I think our bigger need/concern right not is getting Oduya to play like a top-4 or replacing him with someone who can.

I dunno. Our D is young and it’s questionable whether oduya is a top 4 but I think if we look good to make the playoffs we can get a rental for our top 4 and stay the course in terms of young Dmen.

I think spez is right, I think we need to focus on trading for a top line forward. There’s no doubt about that. And I don’t mean replacing someone like turris, I mean adding someone to the mix. I just don’t see smith as a guy that should have a permanent spot in the top 6.
