What do you have against Pageau?

Hes one of our best players. Should be kept.

On that note the guys I see getting dealt: Hoffman, Brassard and Ceci. Possibly smith. No one will take our garbage.

Pageau has been terrible this year. He's a good player, but nothing White and Brown won't be able to replace

At the end of the day the focus should be moving Phaneuf or Ryan. A lot of Ottawa's problems go away by moving at least one of those contracts.

I do think Brass is our best player to trade based on his term and low AAV. His cap hit is $5M but his actual salary is $3.5M. That's huge for anyone looking for a 2a or 2b center down the stretch. But this is also the reason why I don't see the Sens trading him. He's cheap.

Pageau is a fan favorite because hes a small guy that is not afraid and hes had a few huge playoff games. He is a good player but fans overvalue him. Either White or Brown should be playing in that spot. Pageau would get a really nice return from a team like Pitt that is desperate for an experience 3LC.

Pitt would pay a fortune for Brass

I am for keeping Karlsson if possible but if he forces a trade I pray the Sens go rebuild and not make a panic move.

White and Brown should be playing on the 4th line, but not with an immobile vet. If Brown is the slowest player on his line, then I'm happy.

Pageau kills penalties and Habs. White and Brown do not.

Karlsson will be back to his former self next season. Keeper.

Thompson, Pyatt, Stone, McCormick and Smith all kill penalties. White has been getting some PK time in Belleville as well.

How desperate will Chia get in Edmonton. Hoff + Ceci for Draisitl. Hell they can have Pageau as well if they throw in a 2nd.

    Edmonton isn't trading Draisitl. Yikes.

As for Karlsson, yes I'd keep him. The only way I'd move Karlsson is if I'm getting the #1 pick back and can take this Dahlin character, but such a trade likely won't present itself.

I doubt Edmonton would move Draisitl I was just wondering when Chia panics. He is gone if they miss the playoffs IMO.

But not as cheap. He played the crazy card when it came to the arena but they all do.

I wonder if the Sens could work something out with Florida for one of Huberdeau or Barkov. Pipe dream I am sure...
