Poor Philly...perhaps starting Brian Elliott was a bad idea. Bryzgalov tweeted out during the game that he's available.

How about Marc-Andre Fleury...still got it.

Sounds like the Flyers are going to stick with Brian Elliott heading in to game 2.

Yikes. To be fair most of the goals he let in weren't his fault but either way the Flyers look doomed. A 7-0 loss or a 2-1 loss doesn't make a difference in the playoffs. Pens up 1-0 in the series. How they respond in Game 2 will be telling.

I like Mrazek and am not sure why they wouldn't give him a whirl in Game 2.

I think it will be Mrazak. I did not like about 3 of the goals Elliott let in. I only saw highlights though. I was watching Winnipeg and Vegas.

Always nice to see Ol' Bluey get embarassed...and now they'll be without Kadri for at least two games, hopefully three for the suspension.

I feel bad for Washington...man, tough way to lose game 1. I wonder if they now come back with Holtby for game 2?

Evander Kane had a nice playoff debut for SJ.

    3 games for Kadri. Delicious.

Philly poised to take game 2. Interesting. They started Elliott.

Vegas outshooting LA 45-27 near the end of the first OT...don't think I can stay up for double OT.

I did. The 2nd OT was a little slower pace, but in my opinion it was still the fastest series of the 4 Im watching. Doughty or not, Vegas did what I wanted them to. I love watching them. Hard on the puck, support, skilled, filling gaps, create even more. At the risk of reminding everyone about Boucher, Vegas runs their power play with a 1-3-1 and it gives Theodore so many options. Not only that, but once it generates a shot, the 2nd and 3rd chances that happen are usually always there. Vegas baby.

#53 was turned inside out by Houla on the winner. #53 played 16 games this season. What are the chances he's even dressed if Doughty is not suspended?

I'm biased, I know, not a fan of Vegas and the whole expansion draft fiasco. But that was not the worst hit in that game, maybe not even not on that shift. It was not even a penalty on the ice (personally I think it was debatable). Hard to believe that was anything more than the new gunslinger making his point.
