Huh? PHO just traded Zimmerman + a 6th for him yesterday...?

Re-entry apparently.

I don't understand at all why PHO would need to pass him through re-entry. Can you include the link?

Recchi is completely done IMO and has been for a while and Jokinen wouldnt have been anywhere near a playoff game in Ottawa last year, both those moves would have handcuffed Ottawa.

What!? Recchi got claimed by Atlanta from Pittsburgh where he posted 40 points in 53 games. The next year when he signed in Tampa Bay he was good for 45 points in 60 games, then the Lightning traded him for 2 prospects at the deadline.

This year he's got 30 points in 60 games on one of the most low scoring teams in the NHL.

Jokinen was a major force for the Canes in the post-season and this year has 50 points in 60 games.

Might I add that both of these players were well under 2 million at the time there were claimed.

Now, how are these 'handcuffing' or 'used up' in any way?

Also, they are both LW.

Like I said, Jokinen wouldnt have been in the playoffs here in Ottawa and there is no shot we would have Kovalev if he was here, same with Recchi.
